Baywood Mall, Montgomery Mall, and other malls are offering crypto-currencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin.
The main attraction is the fact that the coins can be bought in any of the three major American metropolitan areas.
But for those who are looking to save money, some malls are also offering free rides, discounts, and gift cards to shoppers.
The latest to do so is Baywood in the Chicago suburb of Joliet.

It says it is the first major mall to offer crypto-cards and it is offering a free ride on the subway.
Baywood said in a press release that the ride is free for residents of Jolie and the surrounding communities.
The ride is available from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is available for one hour on the first and fourth Thursday of each month, and three hours on Sundays.
The ride will be a three-hour trip, and the company said the ride will begin at 10:00 a.p.m, and last for about 45 minutes.
The company said it will be free for non-resident residents.
The company says the ride begins with a one-way trip of up to $10 for passengers who have a valid driver’s license and pay $10.
The service is free, but users can also pay $1, $2, or $3 for additional trips, the company says.
The fare includes a free meal.
The Baywood website also has a free car rental service, with cars available for rental from 9 a.u.m to 5:30 p.p., and another free car ride for anyone who has a valid credit card.
The free rides are free, and users can pay $15 per trip to reserve a car.
